Fourth of July celebration keeps annual tradition alive
Staff Reports

Games, good food, and friends meeting friends marked the Fourth of July celebration at the Black Mountain Neuro-Medical Treatment Center.

Annually the celebration happens a week before the traditional July 4 Valley-wide festivities, putting folks in the mood to toast the nation on its official birthday.

A carnival atmosphere prevails as children play games, receive balloons from clowns appropriately dressed in red, white and blue costumes, and munch on a variety of snacks.

The center’s annual celebration attracts families to sit on blankets in the grassy field to listen to the band Simple Folk. A hungry crowd enjoyed barbeque, cotton candy, a variety of drinks, and plenty of hot dogs.

The traditional fire works display entertained folks at dusk.
